It's been a long time...
...we shouldn't have left you... without a dope beat to... oh you get the idea!So there's lots to talk about. Lots of Medulla Corp news. The big one is:
We're relocating to Singapore!
Yup - this week I accepted a position at a games studio in Singapore (not sure if I can announce who yet) as a Lead Designer. Yanti, Tifa, Yuffie and me will be packing things over the next 2 months and selling everything not tide down (although I plan on taking a bunch of things like the new TV - consoles - sofas - bed etc).
I've started selling things on eBay and Amazon. I'm also weeping at the thought of throwing out all my old consoles and computers:
How about that - my damn phone is like a billion times more powerful than all that stuff put together.
You think that's bad!
Yanti's phone is also about a billion times more powerful than all that stuff AND is smaller than the mouse for the Amiga!!
Got to love technology.
I also found this old thing...
Not sure why or how I've got an old Argonaut SNES dev kit - but there it is.
Speaking of technology - I finally bought and XBox360:
Besides being a great cat pillow, I have to say - I'm really impressed. I got Crackdown and Gears of War with it. Crackdown was good but I'll never play it at any length so I sold it and bought Viva Pinata for Yanti.
I should point out that my gamer score is 400. 20 of those point are mine *blush*.
Gears is great and I'll get back to it soon - but I also picked up Dead Rising after trying the demo. AWESOME!! But I just haven't had a chance to play it much yet.
My gamer tag is: moondog90210
I should also publish my Wii code too - but I can't remember it off the top of my head.
What else!
Oh yes - I've been writing a little casual game on my journey to and from work. It's called 'Doki Doki Bloki' and looks something like this:

It's at Beta now so if you want to trial it - send me an email or leave a comment or something. It's basically a version of Picross. I couldn't find a good clone on the PC, and I needed a little project so here it is.
I'm planning on porting it to XNA and maybe flash. It's going to be my framework for learning new languages.
So anyway - more news on S'Pore when I know what I can and can't say. And more news on Doki Doki Bloki if there is any news on that.
I'll leave you with Tifa, rocking it Parappa style ;)
Nic.

We'll visit you guys in Singapore! Hm... bubble tea. Good luck innit. AK
Oh Kewl! Singapore is really cheap to get to now that Tiger Airways flys into Perth.
I was looking at prices, and in June so that I could visit Malaysia via Singapore. It's going to cost me ADU$141 to get to Sing and AUD$162 to get back. [Provided I actually go. My Comp. Sc. exam is also in June, so will depend on which day the exam gets set for].
I'm teaching day and night through out April and May, so no time to visit anyone in Southern Asia any time soon. [Though, you may not be in Sin by then.]
Anyway, sad to see the old Commodore 64 and Amiga going via e-bay. I sold my old Commodore 64 for AUD$50 way back in 1997. [The Disk Drive alone had cost me AUD$1000. Man that was expensive in those days!!!]
Yhanti's phone has more power than the computers that got NASA to the moon! :-)
"Have a great **months**!!!"
You bought an Xbox? Welcome to the darkside..
So buying one of those has nothing to do with the job in Singapore then?
Good on you. Now it's going to be even harder to meet up I guess!
hey I was wondering in your desktop you have a cartoonish clock icon I was wondering where you got that from? I wanted to use it for my deskptop aswell. Pls do mail me at danyaganai@hotmail.com thanks!
Hi, just a visitor I found you on YouTube and I wanted to comment because I love the song on this blog. Is it yours?
I would like a recommendation perhaps if you wouldn't mind, some kind of music software for the PC? I know Macs are better... don't start with me... ^_^
