Still alive...

I've been ill for a few weeks. I'm growing another head on my neck which is going to get looked at by the hospital for a definitive diagnosis. The doc thinks it's just an infected gland - and it's getting smaller and not hurting anymore so here's hoping it's on it's way out.

I bought a couple of techy things recently that I'll write about soon. An Acer Aspire 5600 Core Duo laptop for me (from Tescos for £599) and a Fujitsu Siemans Amilo Pro Pentium M (from Dabs for £430ish) for Yanti who is now working in the UK (she was going a bit crazy as a house wife :D ) and is about to start her Computer Science diploma with OU.

I also bought an Akai MPD from Turnkey for £79. It's the pads from an MPC that plugs in the USB. It's great and a bargin. I used to have and MPC2000 but I didn't like it because I'm very much a soft synth/computer musician. The MPD is brillient and with £101 of the retail, get one before they run out.

I've also been messing with Daz Studio a lot and getting some interesting results.

I'll write about all these things in more detail when I'm 100% again, which should hopefully be very soon.

And finally...

See what this web page looks like.
