Damn it feels good to be a gangsta...
So before I continue - I'm not blaming ANYONE for this... we booked E3 really late and took the only hotel we could get, The Comfort Inn, 321 N Vermont Ave.It should actually be called the Crack Den Inn. Check out these pics of my room.
The exterior paper frames the view perfectly...
It's good to know that in a fire I will be alarmed...
So many choices for electricution...
And the attension to detail in the paint job is beautiful...
I snorted this and got ripped to the tits.
Hands down wins the best award for worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
Spent today picking up some prezzies for Yanti, and registering for E3. Bumped into Jamie, Sefton, and Nathan from Rocksteady (ex-Argonaut) in the Deli on 3rd street Santa Monica. Was a completely random encounter (kinda like Final Fantasy) but was great to see them.
Now I've done Kid Robot and Giant Robot - I can focus on the show, which I'm sure is gonna be loud, hot, and full of goodies.
More then!
Nic.

You know when a hotel has to mention 'Comfort' or 'Quality' in its title, it definately ain't!!
That's pretty bad. I've stayed in worse though ... and it was in London.
The room was so small, I could touch both walls with my arms outstretched. [And as someone who is only 165cm tall, that's not a very big room!]
There was a hole in the wall to the elements outside and I had to use a share toilet that was so small, you had to SQUEEZE yourself into it, as the door didn't quite open enough to let you in.
There was apparently a share shower/bathroom somewhere ... but after wandering around my floor for a bit, I never could find it! :-)
And that cost me AUD$90 a night ... which says somthing about London/UK prices, as I once stayed in a penthouse at a hotel in Surfers Paradise for AUD$125 a night.
[I think a rough conversion would make the UK hotel about 36 pounds a night, and the penthouse about 50 pounds a night].
The Penthouse was really cool though, as we had two floors, an upstairs and a downstairs. ;-)
lol, awesome hotel room.
