Does this have something to do with the 'ice age' type conditions that Western Europe are going to be suffering because of global warming?

According to scientists, where I'm living is going to get hotter and wetter (and because Australia is so flat, if the sea levels rise enough, I'll be living under the sea!!!!) :-)
