As I've mentioned before - sometimes that hand out free crap at the London Mainline stations. Today - they were handing out these...
Skype starter packs with 30 minutes of free calls and...
...yes - free headsets. This is REALLY useful for me since I use Skype when I travel.
Before I just used to plug my headphones into the Vaio and scream down the Vaio's little in-built microphone. Now - I can just slide this in my bag and it takes up no space :)
GOOD FREE CRAP!!!
BTW - at home I use one of those USB boxes that lets you plug your normal phone (in my case a DECT wireless thing) into the PC and use it as a Skype handset. These boxes are cheap and work pretty well. We've even started using them in the office.
Skype's great (even if sometimes when I call my Mum she sounds like the teacher from Charlie Brown)... especially great for low cost international calls.
