Sorry for the lack of blogging action recently. I've been preeping like a freak for my Japan trip. I wish I could put up the video I did for one of my propsals... it's kinda cool.Ashita wa nihon ni ikimasu...

Tomorrow I go to Japan...
I have a crazy 4 day schedule that takes in most of the main Japanese games publishers, and sees me scooting between Tokyo and Osaka.
Watashi no tokerode ni Shibuya-ku desu.
わたしの とけろで に しぶやーく です。
I'm staying in Shibuya, which if I get any free time seems like a good place to be.

I'll take photos when I can. I'm hoping there will be loads of crazy kawaii cosplay-chans at the Square Enix Party. Maybe if I name drop I can get to sleep with some girl dressed as Tifa from Final Fantasy 7 (ooOOoooOOoooOOoooooOOooooOOooooO)
I'll try and take a picture of Fuji-san from the bullet train too - but who knows.
Anyway - hopefully the next post will be from deep in the heart of Tokyo.

Watashi no tokerode? You're melting? (Sorry, I am unfamiliar with Tokerode - but tokeru and it's other derivatives mean to melt.)
iribitari means staying (as far as I know) ... but that's like Hanging out.
taizai suru is to have temporary abode somewhere ...

Watashi wa Shibuya-ku ni taizaisimasu.
For the Watashi wa shogoto wa ganbatte kudesai - you've used wa twice. I'm pretty certain that wa (topic marker) can never appear twice in a sentence.
My guess is either:
Watashi ni shogoto ga ganbatte kudesai.
OR
Watashi no shogoto ga ganbatte kudesai.
(I'm uncertain as to whether it is NI or NO, as I always have trouble with my particles! hee hee! If I had to put money on either though, I think it's ni)
I'm sure it might be ga though - as the "watashi ni shogoto" is the subject and not a topic (yeah, suttle difference, and I might be 100% wrong)
Best to run both past Chisako I think.
(Megumi might have a slightly different take on it)
Oh, if you meet someone from Osaka, say to them:
Osaka ben ga wakarahen.
(It's "I don't speak Osaka dialect", in Osaka dialect! Always gets a good laugh). :-)

Anyway - my passport arrived back today from the British High Commission with my Right of Abode Certificate for the UK. Just have to get the Malaysian and Japanese Visa's and away I go (unless something creazy happens to me in the meantime!) :-)
