It’s amazing to think how fast the world of computer graphics moves. Seems like only yesterday that Pixar gave us a moving lampshade. Today – CGI movies are out grossing live action, and the level of detail found in videogames is about to break into photo realistic.
So maybe in these heady times of limitless artistic creativity, we need to find a benchmark. Something to chart the meteoric rise of rendering technology.
Ladies and Gentlemen – may I present, “The Virtual Ass Test”.

These two images represent the culmination of all the scientists, all the artists, and all the overall visionaries’ hard work.
This is the pinnacle by which all other CGI creations will be judged.
I’ll be sure to keep my eyes firmly fixed on non-existent ladies b-hinds and update you on any major technology leaps, as and when they happen.
