I think I getting young...

It’s really weird how things come around. Two things recently stuck me.

1: Fatman Scoop being number one in the UK charts. I think for the first time in my life that a record is at number one that I like. I mean Crooklyn Clan for Christ sake. I grew up listening to music like this. Next thing you know they’ll be re-making ‘Wild Style’ – wait… what’s that?

2: Clothes. My wardrobe hasn’t really changed since I was a teen. Hooded top, baggy T-shirt, loose jeans, and a pair of Vans. I used to get the piss taken out of me. Now I look like the kid who has been held back – for 15 years.

I think an old college friend said it best the last time I saw her. “Nic! You’re in fashion!”

When you get older you’re meant to bemoan the youth of today. I say, youth of today – where were you 15 years ago man! I could have done with some company!
