"And I got down on my knees..."

Another fine day in the UK that makes you want to go back to bed the moment you get up. Shame I have to pop out and ‘run some errands’ as they say in LA. I guess I’ll also check out what new movies are to rent etc.

As you may have guessed if you’ve read this before – I’m somewhat film obsessed and usually try and watch between two or three movies a day. I have a massive backlog of movies at the moment that I think I’ll try and work through this week.

Still the odd movie seems to fall through the net. I saw ‘The Royal Tenenbaums’ for the first time this weekend. What a great movie. I loved it. Made me cry. Always a good sign. Wes Anderson’s a bit of a star (so's Luke Wilson), but I keep thinking his previous movie was ‘Election’ not ‘Rushmore’ for some reason. Both really good movies and I probably watched them in too closer proximity or something.

So I never mentioned Pop Idol this weekend. Probably because it was really dull. I mean yeah, I still want Susanne to win but it’d be nice to get behind someone else on the show.

Hopefully next week will be a bit better or my limited attention span will probably wander. Actually, going to completely miss the show next week as I have something really cool to do on Saturday night!
