Work has started on the new script (no title yet). This is going to be the most grounded script I’ve written. Everything else has been either near future, or alternative present. This one takes place ‘-> h3r3. -> |\|0|/\|’.It’s a tribute to all the ‘pHr33|<5 and g33|<5’ out there. It’s going to be a script that portrays ‘my p33p5’ in a positive light. W00T!
The structure is all sorted out. I’m currently filling in the details and casting the characters. As I’ve probably mentioned before – I cast everything I write and I’ve already moved (the self proclaimed) ‘fabulous Kat Dennings’ (who I was using in the aborted ‘Everybody’s Special’ screenplay) into a role (make sense? Or should I used some more ()).
The rest of the cast should fall into place over the next few days, as should the finer details.
Writing will start next week, which is a good thing cos in the summer when I decided to do this fulltime I told myself I’d complete two new scripts before the end of the year. One down – one to go.
